Syngenta has in storage approximately 850,000 vials of every compound chemical they have experimented and or developed.

Started collecting in 1930
Registered by Code number  and Barcode. All controlled by robot and data computer.

Use outsourcing and internal compounds to screen new chemicals 
60,000 screens per annum

Takes approximately 10 years from discover of a new agriculture chemical to being available to grower
Average cost for development  US 280 million.  US 90M for chemistry development, US 90M for Biology testing and development and US 100M for Environmental testing
